Job Requirements

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field; Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist or equivalent.

Certifications Requirements:
State licensure as a School Psychologist; Valid PEL or similar certification preferred.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in elementary school settings, with familiarity handling caseloads of approximately 350 students, and participation in IEP meetings alongside social workers.

Other Requirements:
Must be comfortable sharing LEA responsibilities during IEP meetings. Strong communication and collaboration skills required. Ability to adhere to school schedule and manage responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in grades K-5.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and social workers in IEP meetings to develop and implement effective support plans.
