Location: Alliance, Ohio
Schedule: Regular, full‑time (205 days per year)
Reports to: Director of Special Education
Category: Certified, Student Support Services
Key Responsibilities: Conduct individual psycho‑educational evaluations (academic, behavioral, social‑emotional). Provide counseling (individual and group) for students, including those with disabilities. Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized learning or behavioral plans . Participate in IEP meetings and assist in identification/placement of students with special needs. Recommend classroom management strategies and positive behavior interventions. Provide screening programs and referrals to outside service agencies when needed. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for staff, parents, and agencies. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology.Licensure: Valid Ohio Department of Education certification/licensure in School Psychology. Skills Required: Strong communication (oral and written). Active listening and counseling skills. Knowledge of evaluation procedures for academic/behavioral problems.
