Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract job in Tempe, Arizona.
Join a collaborative educational team dedicated to helping students thrive! Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist in Tempe, AZ, to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments to support students' academic and developmental needs.
Interpret assessment results, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide recommendations to support individualized educational planning.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams through IEP participation, consultation, and support of student interventions.
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and deliver staff training and parent education to promote positive student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field
Valid Arizona School Psychologist Certification
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience conducting educational evaluations, individual and group counseling, and supporting students in school-based settings
Knowledge of special education regulations and behavioral intervention practices
