School Psychologist

We are looking for a talented School Psychologist for the school year. This position will cover students ages K-21 and will cover two locations - one location per day.

Hourly Rate Range: $55.00-$68.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
• Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support implementation.
• Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.
• Provide consultation to staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and academic interventions.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
  
• Valid School Psychologist certification issued by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred through the National Association of School Psychologists.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
