Navra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join an elementary school in Elmwood Park, IL for the 2026–2027 school year. Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – June 2027
Schedule: 35 hours per week
School Setting: Elementary School
Grade Levels: Kindergarten–5th Grade
Caseload: One school building
Active Illinois School Psychologist license
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
New graduates are encouraged to apply if they hold a valid Illinois PEL
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school special education regulations
