Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting K-12 students in an impactful, urban environment for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 17th - June 11th). With a manageable, mild-to-moderate caseload of approximately 60 students, you’ll be a key part of a multidisciplinary team, shaping positive educational outcomes within a vibrant school community. This is a full-time, onsite role (35 hours per week) offering valuable professional growth and the chance to make a difference in students’ lives from the Flint area.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification is required
  • Official university transcripts must be provided before district presentation
  • Prior experience as a school psychologist or with an agency in similar settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of Michigan regulations related to special education (MARSE and IDEA)
  • Comfortable and passionate about serving students and families in an urban district
  • Awareness of challenges facing urban youth and knowledge of community resources for support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on early identification and intervention planning for students facing academic, social, or emotional hurdles
  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to help determine special education eligibility
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other support staff, participating in ongoing professional development
  • Articulate assessment results clearly and compassionately to families and staff, contributing to effective educational planning
  • Ensure the implementation of special education policies and procedures across assigned schools
  • Support a positive school climate and help connect families with community resources
