Job SummaryProvide assessment of students referred through the school support team process.QualificationsGraduate degree in School Psychology (REQUIRED)Valid Tennessee School Services License with an endorsement in the area of school psychologyAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingAbility to maintain confidentiality and operate with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conductDependable transportation to various locationsAlternatives to the above qualifications are subject to Tennessee licensure laws and Director of Schools DiscretionResponsibilities/Job DutiesReports to the Supervisor of Special EducationComplete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations on students served through special educationHold conferences with parents to review the psychologist's assessment results prior to the IEP meetingParticipate in IEP team meetings as needed to address assessment and evaluation issuesProvide consultation to teachers, parents and principals to improve the educational environment for studentsFollow all state and federal laws and regulations and Campbell County Board of Education policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain satisfactory, and respectful working relationships within the school environmentPerform other duties as assigned
