THE OPPORTUNITY

• Position: School Psychologist
• Location: DIISD - Dickinson & Iron Counties
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Start Date: 2026-27 School Year, on or after August 24, 2026
• Salary: Based on experience and placement on the established pay grid
• Benefits: Full benefits package available
• Employment Status: Union, Exempt
• Contract: Negotiated school calendar and in-service hours per the current Master Agreement
• Reports To: Director of Special Education

YOUR IMPACT

As a School Psychologist, you will provide professional psychological and educational services that support students, families, and school teams.

Your work will include:

• Conducting psychological and educational assessments
• Evaluating and diagnosing students with disabilities
• Providing consultation to teachers, families, administrators, and other professionals
• Providing psychological counseling and crisis intervention
• Supporting students with learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Developing behavior management strategies for individual students and classrooms
• Interpreting assessment results and observations in meaningful, practical ways
• Participating on diagnostic and IEP teams
• Preparing accurate evaluations, reports, and required documentation
• Providing professional development and in-service training when needed
• Coordinating with agencies and individuals to support student success
• Providing preventive services that promote a positive climate for learning

WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in School Psychology
• Meet the requirements established by Special Education Rules
• Valid driver's license if driving is required for job-related responsibilities
