Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students at two vibrant elementary schools near Aurora, CO. As a key resource for school communities, you’ll provide expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation—impacting young learners’ emotional, academic, and behavioral success. This onsite, full-time position extends through May 2027, offering you a chance to make a lasting difference.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Professional Special Services License through the Colorado Department of Education (or eligibility/application in process for travelers)
  • Proven experience as a School Psychologist, ideally in elementary settings
  • Ability to advocate for students’ diverse needs and support positive educational outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the knack for engaging both students and staff
  • Detail-oriented in assessments, documentation, and service coordination
  • Energetic and upbeat demeanor, with a collaborative mindset
  • Capable of describing your practice and skills confidently during a two-step interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychological assessments and share findings with educational teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop individualized education plans
  • Deliver counseling, behavioral interventions, and consultative support
  • Help foster safe, inclusive learning environments on both campuses
  • Maintain accurate records and support compliance with regulations
  • Effectively manage a caseload of approximately 40 students
