Job Title: School Psychologist Intern

Primary Purpose: Perform professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems. Assess the psychological and psycho-educational needs of students referred to special education services.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: Currently enrolled in a School Psychology or School Specialist Masters Degree Program from an accredited university, or have a degree conferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of the core academic subject assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience: One year of experience providing psychology services in an educational setting or one year of externship/practicum experience.

Other Information: The District contributes $330 monthly to the cost of employee-only health insurance, which is $105 monthly greater than the state-required amount of $225/month. All employees in this position receive free access to any Next Level Urgent Care.
