**Position Overview**
The School Psychologist supports students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development through assessment, consultation, and intervention services. This role works collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to identify student needs, determine eligibility for special education services, and promote positive learning outcomes. Services are provided on-site for students under the jurisdiction of the state and school district.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for initial and re-evaluation purposes
+ Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive, legally compliant evaluation reports
+ Participate as an active member of the IEP and multidisciplinary teams
+ Present assessment results to parents, teachers, and administrators in a clear and supportive manner
+ Support behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions for students
+ Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff regarding student needs and strategies
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education regulations
+ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to evaluation timelines
+ Provide services aligned with professional ethical and practice standards
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Current **Washington State licensure and/or certification** as a School Psychologist
+ Master's degree in Psychology (or higher) preferred
+ Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
+ Knowledge of special education law, evaluation procedures, and best practices
+ Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice
+ Must meet **all federal, state, and local employment requirements**
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
**Health & Compliance Requirements**
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
