Phaxis Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full-time school-based opportunity near Gardner, MA for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details:
• Role: School Psychologist
• Location: Gardner, MA area
• School Setting: High School
• Grade Levels: 8–12
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hours: 37.25 hours per week
• Start Date: August 24, 2026
• End Date: June 11, 2027, barring any snow-day adjustments
• Number of School Sites: 1
• Caseload: To be determined
Requirements:
• Massachusetts Certification as a School Psychologist required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience supporting high school students preferred
• Strong communication, evaluation, report-writing, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work closely with special education teams, administrators, families, and related service providers
Responsibilities May Include:
• Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participating in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
• Completing written reports and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and school-based teams
• Supporting students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs
• Assisting with intervention planning, consultation, and student support services as needed
