Qualifications
- Masters Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology
- Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist (will consider for internship year)
Essential Duties
- Full-time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary School
- Building coordinator of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data
- Facilitate building level Section 504 Evaluations and meeting
- Participate in building level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations with strong diagnostic skills and experience participating in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process
- Ability to take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Building crisis support team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
- Effective collaboration with parents, educational staff and other professionals
- Experience facilitating the IEP process
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis
- Trained in, or willing to be trained in non-violent crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate and confidential records

Salary
