School Psychologist - Pittsburg, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology.
• Previous experience working with elementary school populations is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and educational staff.
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
• A deep commitment to fostering student growth, resilience, and academic achievement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs.
• Provide direct counseling and intervention to students, both individually and in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies that promote students’ emotional and behavioral wellness.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to create and monitor support plans.
• Promote safe, inclusive, and positive learning environments across all assigned settings.
