School Psychologist Preschool - Summit ESCTerm Anticipated for 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:
• Masters Degree in school psychology • Valid School Psychologist License Issued by the Ohio Board of Psychology • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings • Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable
The school psychologist will contribute to evaluations utilizing diagnostic instruments and techniques appropriate for the area of disability or suspected disability. The school psychologist will also consult with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on issues related to the education of children with disabilities to ensure the provision of the most appropriate education program.
Responsibilities of the school psychologist will include:
• Conducting formative assessments (CBMs, reading, math probes) • Assisting school staff in implementing or modifying instructional strategies, classroom management procedures, and interventions • Assisting in the implementation of IDEIA • Keeping abreast of new developments in the field and serving as a resource for other staff members • All other duties as assigned
