School Psychologist

Description:
We are proactively seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students and educational teams in Spanaway, WA for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

The client is not yet ready to begin interviews, but we are building a pipeline of qualified candidates in advance of the hiring process.

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student needs and eligibility decisions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations based on evaluation results.
• Support students through counseling, behavioral interventions, and academic planning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote student success and positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state requirements.

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Washington State School Psychologist credential/certification (or eligibility).
• Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education processes, assessments, and IEP development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
