Job Description
We are seeking a
School Psychologist for a full-time, in-person position supporting a secondary school in
Wake Forest, North Carolina for the 2026-2027 school year.
The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and school teams to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
Key responsibilities may include:- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Preparing evaluation reports and recommendations
- Participating in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consulting with teachers, families, and school staff
- Supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Providing counseling and case management as needed
- Maintaining required documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in School Psychology from an accredited university or approved program.
- Current North Carolina School Psychologist license/credential or eligibility to obtain the appropriate North Carolina Professional Educator's License in School Psychology through NCDPI.
- Completion of required school psychology internship/fieldwork.
- One year of school-based experience preferred; however, new graduates with qualifying school-based fieldwork or internship experience may be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a school-based team.
