School Psychology Intern

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT Exempt Part Time 29.5 hours per week 2026-2027 School year Only

QUALIFICATIONS Two years of full-time study that includes 60 graduate semester hours from an accredited University in the area of school psychology.

DUTIES Under the direction of the Student Support Services Director and supervision of a School Psychologist, the intern will provide direct services for assigned schools. Assist in the intervention process as a member of the Multi-Tiered System of Support Team. Perform individual psychological observations, evaluations, and assessments of referred students. Explain the results of these evaluations to parents, teachers, and students when appropriate. Provide consultation to educational staff regarding behavior and academic interventions and perform other related work as required.
