Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated behavioral health professional to support school-based treatment programs and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the direction and supervision of a BCBA. This role provides an opportunity to gain supervised experience toward becoming a BCBA or BCaBA.
 

Responsibilities

• Implement 1:1 behavioral intervention programs for children.
• Assist with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy procedures under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in training related to ABA, discrete trial teaching, challenging behaviors, child development, and data collection.
• Record and report individual student behaviors and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with supervisory staff.
• Complete monthly graphing and progress reports.
• Assist with developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in coordination with a BCBA.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete all required clinical and service documentation.
• Complete billing documentation according to facility and payer requirements.
• Provide guidance and supervision to RBTs as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment.
• Fully participate in the mentorship program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in an acceptable field.
• At least 1 year of RBT experience or equivalent experience.
• Currently gaining supervised experience toward meeting qualifications to sit for the BCBA or BCaBA board examination.

Additional Requirements Must participate fully in the BCBA mentorship program. Agreement to repay supervision costs may apply in the event of early departure. Must comply with all applicable state, federal, professional, and facility requirements.
