School Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview 

• Provide professional nursing care and health support to students in a school setting on an as-needed, per diem basis.
• Monitor and respond to students’ routine and acute healthcare needs, including pediatric and diabetes-related care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and maintain accurate, confidential health records.
• Respond to health emergencies and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed.

Qualifications 

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License
• AHCA Level 2 background screening/clearance
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Prior experience providing pediatric and pediatric diabetes care
