This full-time, contract opportunity spans from September 4th to June 25th, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:15AM to 3:15PM. Key Qualifications:
Valid School Nursing NJ licensure required
School-based RN experience essential
Confidence in acclimating to new districts and building trust with staff and families
Able to oversee entire school buildings and efficiently respond to needs across campus
Comfortable servicing a varied caseload of elementary and middle school students
Willing to complete onboarding requirements: TB screening, physical examination, fingerprinting for both agency and district
Reliable transportation and proximity to assigned site
LPN credentials are not accepted for this assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer daily and emergency care, medication, and treatments in accordance with best practices
Monitor student health and identify potential concerns, collaborating with staff and parents as needed
Serve as a healthcare resource and support system for both students and faculty
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student visits, treatments, and incidents
Promote a safe and healthy school environment by participating in health education and prevention initiatives
Oversee the health needs and safety protocols throughout entire school buildings
