School Registered Nurse (RN)

Per Diem opportunities available

Position Overview 

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to K–7 students, including assessment, first aid, medication administration, and management of health concerns in the nurse’s office.
• Monitor student health needs, maintain accurate medical records, and follow established health and safety protocols.
• Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical situations while coordinating care with families, school staff, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with ongoing medical needs, ensuring appropriate care and support throughout the school day.

Qualifications 

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• School nursing experience highly preferred
• Proficient Spanish is a plus
