Description

American Traveler is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a school-based position supporting a caseload of students in grades 1-8.

Details

• >School-based setting supporting students from 1st to 8th grade
• Caseload of 11 students
• Day shift schedule, 3 days per week at 7.5 hours per day
• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Assignment runs from August through late May

Requirements

• BCBA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience as a BCBA in a school setting is a plus
• Experience completing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and writing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Experience with progress monitoring toward IEP goals

Additional Information

• Responsible for conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and monitoring student progress toward IEP goals
• Opportunity to complete competency assessments for training Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
• Provides oversight of RBT hours
• Compliance modules are required and must be completed within 30-90 days of starting the assignment
