Job Summary (List Format):

- Full-time Special Education Teacher position for 2026-27 school year, focusing on students with Severe Cognitive Impairment (SCI) or Severe Multiple Impairment (SXI)
- Manage a caseload of 12–15 students with significant cognitive and/or multiple impairments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide differentiated instruction based on each student’s unique learning needs
- Collect, document, and monitor student progress data
- Collaborate with service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families to support student success
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and district special education regulations
- Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Requires valid Michigan Special Education certification with Cognitive Impairment (SA or CI) endorsement
- Prior experience with cognitively impaired students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills required
