Are you looking for an opportunity with a great, supportive district for the 2026/2027 school year? We need two Special Education Teachers to work southeast of Gresham, OR!

• Experience is highly preferred
• Will need experience writing IEP's and working with students with special needs

• Special Education Teacher will be fully licensed in OR or eligible for licensure

  
  Pay: $50-$60 per hour
  
  Position Details:

Position 1: Learning Specialist

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 8-hour workday (school hours vary by building)
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: June 18, 2027
• Location: Assignment may be split between multiple schools (final placement to be determined)
• Caseload: Approximately 30 active students with a portfolio of 40
• Provides academic and special education support across a variety of student needs

Position 2: Elementary Special Education Teacher – Structured Learning Center (SLC-A)

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 8-hour workday (school hours vary by building)
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: June 18, 2027
• Location: Kelso Elementary School
• Classroom: 4th and 5th Grade Structured Learning Center (SLC-A)
• Student Population: Approximately 12 students on portfolio
• Focus on supporting students with significant academic and special education needs in a self-contained classroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Serve as the primary case manager for assigned students
• Schedule, prepare for, and facilitate IEP meetings
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students' individual goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with special education regulations
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
