AMN Healthcare is partnering with West Fargo Public Schools in West Fargo, North Dakota, to hire a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' communication success and committed to fostering a collaborative, professional, and positive educational environment. Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, families, and related service providers to support the communication needs of a diverse student population. Essential Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy services as outlined by the supervising SLP and student IEPs. Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP. Conduct student observations and collect data on student performance and progress. Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting intervention activities. Maintain accurate service logs and student documentation as required. Assist with gathering information and documentation related to evaluations, progress monitoring, and IEP meetings. Collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and the supervising SLP to support student success. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as appropriate. Understand and adhere to North Dakota SLPA supervision requirements and maintain regular communication with the supervising SLP to ensure compliance with all state and district regulations.

Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by state of practice.
