Help Students Thrive

As a School Social Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success. Working alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, you'll help create positive learning environments where students can reach their full potential.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of student support plans and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, and families to address student needs
• Connect students and families with school and community resources
• Support crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral strategies
• Promote student well-being, attendance, and overall school success

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and student support services
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for helping students overcome barriers to success
