As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide in-person services for charter school students. This is a leave coverage position for the upcoming school year, starting end of September or early October and lasting for 6 months.
School Social Worker Salary: $45-$55 per hour
School Social Worker Schedule:
- Leave Coverage
- Full-Time (hours are approximately 8 AM to 3 PM)
- Elementary level age range working with students K-4
School Social Worker Qualifications:
- Must have school certification in New Jersey
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:
- Providing Behavioral Support Services
- Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Handling Medicare reimbursements
