School Social Worker - Full-Time - Leave Coverage

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time School Social Worker to provide in-person services for public elementary school students. This is a leave coverage position is for the upcoming school year, from September through November.

School Social Worker Salary: $40-$55 per hour

School Social Worker Schedule:

• Leave coverage
• Must have NJ DOE certification
• Case Management experience is required
• Will be working with 3 - 5 year olds

School Social Worker Qualifications:

• Must have school certification in New Jersey
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:

• Providing Behavioral Support Services
• Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
• Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
• Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
• Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
• Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
• Handling Medicare reimbursements
