Navra is seeking compassionate and dedicated School Social Workers to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in the Glendale Heights, IL area. Position Overview

As a School Social Worker, you will collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to provide services that promote student well-being and foster positive educational outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing individual and group counseling services
  • Conducting social-developmental assessments and evaluations
  • Participating in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Supporting students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges
  • Assisting with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
  • Connecting students and families with community-based resources
  • Promoting positive school climate and student engagement

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of special education processes and student support services
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student success and well-being
