Duties

Simon & McNair Elementary Schools are seeking a shared School Social Worker Substitute for the 2026-27 school year - 1st semester only to cover a leave of absence. This opening may be ideal for a retired School Social Worker. This position helps students resolve personal, emotional, and social problems that interfere with their adjustment to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education. Focus is on supporting all students, including those with IEPs, Behavior Intervention Plans, and RtI Plans.

Qualifications

Applicants must be appropriately certified with a current Illinois License - PEL.
