Allied Support for Kids is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary – Part Time Speech-Language Pathologist (2026-27 School Year)

- Part-time position working across two campuses near Sugar Land.
- Responsible for supervising 1 Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Paid for travel time between schools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
- Assess students for suspected speech or language impairments.
- Collect and review student educational, developmental, and behavioral data.
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations.
- Determine student eligibility for speech-language services per state and federal guidelines.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable communication goals.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and present findings.
- Monitor student progress and revise interventions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Texas Education Agency requirements.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and campus staff regarding speech and language development.
- Support teachers with differentiated instruction and provide classroom accommodation recommendations.
- Assist families in understanding communication disorders and available services.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Texas SLP license and required educational credentials.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered.
- Prefer school-based and pediatric/adolescent experience, especially within special education.
- Strong knowledge of ARD/IEP processes preferred.
