Phaxis Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join school teams in the Boulder Hill area for the 2026–2027 school year. We are hiring both full-time and part-time SLPs who are passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and reach their full potential.

Empower Students Through Communication

As a School-Based SLP, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and functional success. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students with a variety of speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication needs.

What You'll Do

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student outcomes
• Help students build communication skills that support success both in and out of the classroom

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting student growth and achievement
• School-based experience is welcomed but not required
