Your Impact

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Providing direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in IEP meetings and goal development
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining required documentation
  • Supporting students with a wide range of communication needs across K–12 settings

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
  • CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply for select opportunities
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for helping students reach their full potential
