Phaxis Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year in the Wheeling, IL area. We partner with school districts to connect skilled clinicians with meaningful school-based opportunities where they can help students build communication skills and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide services that support students' communication development and help them access their educational environment.
Provide speech and language therapy services to K–12 students
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Track student progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Support a wide range of communication needs including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Compassionate, student-centered approach
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Ability to support diverse K–12 caseloads
