School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Antioch, California

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a welcoming school environment close to Antioch, CA. This position starts right away and runs through the end of the school year, with the potential for limited extended school year (ESY) work as needed. You'll be an essential contributor, helping students reach their communication goals and ensuring IEP requirements are met in a collaborative, positive setting.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA licensure (support for supervision provided, costs covered)
• Previous school experience highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload of approximately 55 students
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing direct and indirect speech-language services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Working closely with supervising SLP, staff, and families to support student growth and document progress
• Completing all assigned IEPs for your caseload efficiently and accurately
• Engaging with students on campus, 3-5 days per week, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), for the remainder of the school year
• Participating in some ESY services, though summer caseloads are expected to be light
