Qualifications & Desired Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain before start date)
Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children are essential
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, parents, and service providers
What You'll Do:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students with a variety of speech and language needs
Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions individually and in small groups
Work closely with teachers and staff to facilitate student progress and support academic success
Document therapy sessions, evaluations, and track progress as required by school and district policies
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute input for goals, accommodations, and progress updates
Provide education and guidance to classroom staff and families related to communication strategies and support
