Qualifications & Desired Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active state licensure for Illinois
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Prior experience working in school or healthcare environments, particularly with early childhood populations
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Motivated self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively
Must be available for onsite work (remote or teletherapy not offered)
SLPAs will not be considered for this position
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapeutic services to children in an early childhood setting
Evaluate, create, and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' unique needs
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth and achievement
Maintain timely and accurate records as required by the school and state
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field
