Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital speech-language pathology services to elementary students for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role supports a diverse caseload of 46 students across grades TK-5, including Speech IEP and MS SDC students. Your expertise will help children build strong communication skills that empower them to thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California SLP license or eligibility (CCC or CFY considered)
Experience providing services in school settings highly valued
Strong assessment, report writing, and IEP participation skills
Bilingual skills are a plus and will help serve the diverse student population
Clinical Fellows and SLPAs are welcome for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
Conduct assessments and evaluations, documenting findings professionally and promptly
Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with staff and families
Provide timely progress reports and maintain accurate student records
Support students with varying levels of need, tailoring therapy to individual strengths
Role Details:
Contract position beginning August 5, 2024 and ending June 12, 2025
Full-time, 40 hours per week; school day runs from 7:30am to 2:15pm
Work on-site at an engaging local elementary school setting
Caseload of 46 students covering a range of communication needs
