    Role Description The School Speech-Language Pathologist is a part-time role (25 hours per week) in Madison, Illinois. This role includes evaluating students’ speech, language, and communication skills, developing individualized education program (IEP) goals, and providing direct intervention services. The Speech-Language Pathologist collaborates with teachers, families, and school staff to support classroom communication and student participation. Daily responsibilities include documenting treatment sessions, maintaining accurate records, attending IEP and team meetings, and contributing to multidisciplinary planning. The role may also involve screening students, providing consultation to staff, and participating in professional development activities.

    Qualifications

    • \n
    • Strong skills in Speech Therapy and assessment of Speech needs
    • \n
    • Experience working with Communication Disorders in school-aged populations
    • \n
    • Ability to evaluate and treat Language Disorders across diverse learners
    • \n
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • \n
    • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
    • \n
    • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
    • \n
    • Experience in school-based practice, including IEP development and collaboration with educators
    • \n
    • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
    • \n
    • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered care and effective communication with families and teams
    • \n
