School Speech Language Pathologist - Naperville, IL

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) for Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Experience working in early childhood or preschool settings strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Passion for working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings for early childhood students
• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Facilitate communication skills development, including speech, language, social/pragmatic, and augmentative communication
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, staff training, and required professional development
• Support transition planning and provide consultation to staff and parents as needed
