School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aurora, Illinois

This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) and thrives on individualized student engagement. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, dedicating 37 hours per week to helping learners unlock their potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois SLP license
• Professional Educator’s License (PEL) through ISBE for schools
• SLP-CCC certification
• Experience with school-aged children in a therapy or educational setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in a therapeutic day school setting
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate therapy records and generate progress reports
• Partner with educators and families to facilitate carryover of communication strategies
• Participate in school meetings and support a positive, inclusive learning environment
