Step into a rewarding role providing speech and language therapy services for high school students in a supportive educational environment. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through late May 2026. The opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate your work-life needs, with daily staff hours from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM.

In this setting, you’ll work with a dynamic caseload that can range from approximately 30 to 60 students, depending on your desired schedule. The high school population offers a unique chance to make an impact during a formative period in students’ communication development and academic progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active Illinois state license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please include a screenshot of verification)
  • Experience working with high school students preferred
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and deliver individualized services
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and deliver direct speech-language therapy to high school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive academic environment
