Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP license and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially PreK-6th grade, strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Passion for helping children reach their fullest potential
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and deliver customized intervention plans, adapting as student needs evolve
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reports in compliance with regulations
- Offer guidance and support for classroom teachers on implementing speech and language strategies
- Contribute actively to a welcoming and collaborative school community
