  • Coordinate call-out coverage, route substitutions, vehicle assignments, and other daily service adjustments under management direction.
  • Maintain accurate route, schedule, driver, attendant, vehicle, and assignment information in Company systems.
  • Answer operational phone calls and messages, document actions taken, and escalate unresolved, safety-related, or time-sensitive concerns promptly.
  • Assist with employee scheduling, availability updates, open assignments, training schedules, and coverage planning.
  • Track required operational documentation and follow up on missing or incomplete trip, vehicle, attendance, safety, and compliance records.
  • Support fleet readiness by coordinating vehicle availability and reporting maintenance, fueling, cleaning, equipment, or safety concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain daily reports, communication logs, coverage records, and other administrative documentation.
  • Use Company-issued technology and electronic systems accurately and consistently.
  • Perform other office-based transportation and operational support duties as assigned.

Core Function: Standby and Substitute Driving

  • Maintain all qualifications, clearances, training, and driving requirements necessary to operate Company passenger vehicles.

  • Safely transport students or passengers in accordance with Company procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, child safety checks, trip documentation, and route communications.
  • Provide transportation-attendant or field support when operationally necessary and qualified to do so.
  • Return to assigned office operations and coordination duties when driving or field coverage is completed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and a minimum of three (3) years of licensed driving experience.
