School Van Driver (7D)

Treehouse Learning Center LLC is hiring a School Van Driver (7D) in Lynn, Massachusetts, to provide safe and reliable transportation for school-age children.

Schedule and pay

• $19–$23 per hour

• Expected 20–30 hours per week, depending on assigned routes and availability

• Monday through Friday split shift, generally 6:45 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 2:00–4:45 p.m.; exact hours depend on the assigned route

• Attendance bonus

• On-the-road position based in Lynn, Massachusetts

Responsibilities

• Safely transport school-age children while following all state and federal traffic laws.

• Operate sedans, minivans, full-size passenger vans, and wheelchair-accessible vans.

• Assist students entering and exiting the vehicle and help secure seat belts, car seats, and booster seats as needed.

• Communicate clearly with students, families, teachers, school staff, and dispatch.

• Use a two-way radio system effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least three consecutive years.

• Must have a satisfactory driving record.

• Must be able to pass required background screening, including CORI and SORI.

• A Massachusetts 7D school pupil transport certificate is preferred at the time of application. Candidates who do not yet have the certificate may receive guidance through the application and certification process.
