This would be a special areas class for **Mandarin** It is 40hr/wk, 715a-330p Elementary & Middle School Foreign Language Teacher (K-8) Location: Mevers School of Excellence Position Overview: The Elementary and Middle School Foreign Language Teacher provides specialized instruction in foreign languages. This role involves creating engaging, hands-on lessons that enhance students' educational experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement curriculum for foreign language. Engage students in interactive, project-based learning experiences. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster a supportive and collaborative classroom environment. Participate in school-wide events and activities. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development. Maintain accurate records of student performance. Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Valid South Carolina teaching certification REQUIRED. Experience teaching foreign language at the elementary and/or middle school level. Strong communication and classroom management skills.
