LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES 41 O'Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450, Eastern Monroe Career Center

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time

STARTING DATE: September 2026

SALARY RANGE: $48,500 - $78,642 per year (or higher depending on BUP negotiations)

• Actual salary is dependent upon education, experience and contract.

DUTIES:

• Collaborate with CTE teachers to prepare integrated lessons and assessments for science instruction within multiple CTE programs.
• Assist CTE teachers with the instruction of students in theory and application of an integrated science curriculum within a particular career path.
• Remain current with science initiatives as they relate to career paths.
• Provide students with a safe and orderly classroom environment, extensive guided practice and appropriate supervision for science lab activities.
• Maintain records of student progress.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in science related field required.
• New York State Teacher Certification in secondary science required or be willing to obtain.
• NYS Students with Disabilities Certification preferred.
• Experience working with CTE students and/or students with disabilities preferred.
• Industry work experience preferred.
