Massanutten Academy – Woodstock, VirginiaMassanutten Academy is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and student-focused educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year. Located in the beautiful foothills of the Massanutten Mountains in Woodstock, Virginia, Massanutten Academy provides a structured, supportive environment where students are challenged to achieve academic excellence, develop leadership skills, and grow as responsible citizens.Qualifications· Bachelor's Degree required· Master's Degree preferred· Teaching experience in Science or a related field preferred· Strong communication and classroom management skills· Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, and cadets· Commitment to fostering a structured and disciplined learning environmentDuties and Responsibilities· Teach Physical Science (8th Grade), Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and other courses as assigned· Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives· Conduct laboratory activities and demonstrations in accordance with established safety procedures· Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and cadets· Maintain an accurate and up-to-date grade book· Mentor cadets through weekly advisory meetings· Participate in occasional weekend duties and school events· Adhere to all Academy policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook· Help maintain and foster a structured, disciplined, and positive classroom environment· Support the Academy's mission of academic achievement, leadership development, and character educationEmployment Requirements· Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment· Ability to meet all employment eligibility requirementsMassanutten Academy – Woodstock, VirginiaMassanutten Academy is seeking an energetic, dedicated, and student-focused educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 academic year.
