Science Librarian
12-month, full-time position, P&A Professional position.
The person in this position provides library liaison services to assigned departments, programs, and research institutes in the sciences. This person also provides support and outreach for research data management at UMD in collaboration with UMD library colleagues and University Libraries colleagues in the Twin Cities.
For assigned departments and programs, this librarian provides specialized reference services, selects information resources, creates learning objects, serves as a liaison to faculty, and provides information literacy instruction for classes. As part of the Research & Learning Team, this person will share responsibility for delivering information literacy instruction for courses within the College and Advanced Writing Program. The person in this position participates in Research & Learning Team meetings, activities, and projects, serves on teams and groups working on library-wide initiatives, and contributes to the library profession and/or campus.nels8313@umn.edu

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $57,702 to $59,500 per year; depending on education/qualifications/experience
